Pirates embody themes that resonate with all of us: freedom, competence, rebellion, confidence, and contempt for an oppressive authority. To the surprise of literally no one, there is no other way to accurately describe Black Flag.Īnd the choice of a pirate themed game was brilliant.
I dont think you can skip them by changing your time on pc either as you can only play fleet by connecting to the internet, thus making the missions online available only. SOME MISSIONS MIGHT TAKE YOU UP TO 36 HOURS BEFORE YOU WILL FINISH THEM!
Once you unlock "Mediterranean Sea 2" you're almost ready to go, I BELIEVE you will only have to finish the mission called "Great reputation 2" once you do so, you will have your last map. In order to get the last treasure map you will have to finish the mission in Kenway's fleet, you will have to unlock different isles, places, cities or whatever to do so, so you have to finish fleet missions with a "!" sign next to them, If you finish upgrading i recommend you still fighting against them and adding to your fleet, 7 Man O' War ships in your fleet should be enough.
The easiest to beat all legendary ships is obviously to upgrade your whole ship, in order to do it i recommend you gaining wanted level to the max, getting tailed by 2 Pirate Hunters and defeating them, on maximum level they will give you a LOT of materials you need to upgrade. play the fleet in order to get the last treasure map. beat ALL 4 Legendary Ships in the corners of the maps to finish it 100% you just need to check "progress tracker" in the menu, yeah pretty easy, here are two things that will make you (maybe) give up on finishing it: Just walking around the cities, collecting stuff on the way was lots of fun, i don't regret it at all.ģ. Finishing it completely was not a problem or tiring at all, altough i don't think i will ever finish any other game completely as i did with Black Flag. This is my 3rd playthrough of this game, first time i played it personally around in 2016 or so, game files got deleted, 2nd time same thing happened to me in around 2018, this is my 3rd playthrough and first ever game finished 100%.Ģ. Overall im in love with the game, characters and the gameplay, i loved every second of it except for the ending of the story, it left me confused, was too quick and just overall kinda wierd, other than that im loving it.ġ. I can't type so much in "general notes" so im gonna put it in here, in a Review score box. May sound fun in theory, but it was honestly the worst part of the game and the only element I didn’t enjoy. Follow a man slowly and don’t get seen else have to restart. Tailing Missions – Also a staple of the series. Believe I only had to restart a mission once due to a glitch, but they were still common enough to mention. Admittedly I experienced less glitches and bugs here than Brotherhood, Revelations, and AC3, and the most were not game breaking.
+/-Glitches – A staple of the series at this point, I’d be reminisced to not mention them.
The parts of the islands you could explore were beautiful though and I especially loved the ancient ruins and temples dotted around. You can only explore a small part of the islands you see and the underwater parts were my least favorite. +/-The Caribbean – While beautiful to look at and massive in size, when you take a step back and look, it is mainly empty. +Naval Combat – They took the only real part of AC3 I enjoyed and improved upon it so much! This was the main reason I decided to 100% the game, just so I could keep sailing around. Having done a lot of research into this time period in the past, I was happy to see these historical characters given their own life in the story and was generally sad when they died. But I enjoyed the side characters even more. He is believable and grows heavily during the span of the story. +Characters – Edward Kenway is the best character played thus far in the series. While it seemed pretty average at first, it really hooked me in the end and even surprised me with some of the twists near the end. +Story – A thrilling pirate adventure that tosses in the fun and interesting elements of the game’s narrative. Outside of some glitches and annoying tailing missions, this has become my favorite in the series and the first I wanted to 100%. It perfected the, admittedly sometimes repetitive, combat and controls the previous games set up while adding it’s own fun elements with the navel combat. 9/10 – Assassin’s Creed Black Flag is peek Assassin’s Creed, at least of all the games I have played thus far, and is also just an amazing pirate game on it’s own.
